Former Piarists convent in Rzeszów
Former Piarists convent in Rzeszów was built in the first half of the 17th century and it consists of a college, a church and a monastery. The church and the monastery were built thanks to a foundation belonging to the daughter of Mikołaj Spytek Ligęza, Princess Zofia Pudencjana Zasławska-Ostrogska. Today high school number 1 in Rzeszów is located in the college and county museum in the monastery. The museum has many exhibitions in its repertory, both permanent and periodic. A very valuable collection consists of around 250 000 showpieces which were created mostly thanks to donated paintings.
