Tadeusz Mazowiecki Bridge
The Bridge, named after Tadeusz Mazowiecki, connects Załęska and Lubelska streets. It is 482 metres long and, thanks to its pylons, 108,5 metres high, which makes it the second highest bridge in Poland. It is supported by the rigs which are connected to the steel ropes. The combined length of the ropes comes to 400 kilometres, with the longest rope being 240 metres long and the shortest 85 metres. Total cost of the construction was 183 millions of Polish zloty, whereby it was funded from Operational Programme for the Development of Eastern Poland as well as national budget in the amount of 167 millions of Polish zloty.
